4 Months Old

Ryan had his 4 month check up yesterday. I can't believe that it has been 4 months already ... it is so crazy how fast time is going!!

Everything looked great!

Weight: 17 lbs 1 oz
Length: 26 1/2 in

Also, Ryan has gotten his 1st Tooth!! It just broke through the gums! (We've had a lot of drooling going on, as you'll see in the next pictures) .

Here are a few new pictures of Ryan.

Here is some of that drool I was talking about...

Now if this doesn't convince you that we have a little bit of a drooling problem, I don't know what will ...

This is ALL DROOL!! (And, happened in about 10 mins)

The doctor told us we could start some rice cereal with Ryan, so we have started to introduce it to him. He seems to be liking it!

A Picnic and a Few Other Things

Trying to think of something fun to do with the boys (to help all of us keep our sanity), we decided to have a picnic. The weather has been pretty warm, so we loaded up and went to the Arboretum.

It was great being outside, enjoying the fresh air and getting all of Tyler's energy out! It was fun having a picnic, and we have done it a couple times now ... Here are a few pictures:

I'm not sure what this expression is... (except hilarious)

Ry Guy ... (as he is affectionately known at our house)

Picnic Time ... this is the 1st picnic. Look at all that stuff! There's no traveling lightly with two kids!

Picnic 2 ... mmm Turkey Sandwich

Tyler loved getting splattered by the water from the fountains.
Here are some of my favorite pictures.
I was actually able to get some pictures of the boys together!

Brothers don't shake hands, brothers gotta hug...

The next two are my favorite!!

Valentine's ... A Frog Tent!
Now, what else says love like a frog tent?
It's very spacious. Room enough for a brother...
a step stool ...
even Daddy fits!

Brownies anyone?
They're very delicious!

Houston - Amy's 1st Birthday

Last weekend we all went down to Houston to help celebrate Amy's 1st Birthday. It was great getting to see everyone! We always love a party!!

Tyler supervised the gift opening.

And, gave free lessons on how to play with the toys!

Mimi, Amy & Ryan

There was a little bounce house action ... which is always fun.

The Birthday Cake Attack ... Amy Style.

Tyler also enjoyed some cake ...

Why waste your time with a fork??
