September 2, 2010 .... Welcoming Jake William Gafford!!

Also the day that I officially became completely outnumbered. Daddy, Tyler, Ryan, Jake (and don't forget the dogs Colby & Marshal) ... That's a lot of boys! I guess on the other hand, it officially makes me the Queen Bee.

Jake arrived Thursday Sept 2nd at 12:21 pm, weighing in at 9lb 11 oz and only 19 inches long. (Daddy was demanding a recount). Our stocky little guy!

Once we were all checked in the boys came up to the hospital to provide a little in-room entertainment. Which I'm sure was also enjoyed by the nurses and the other rooms in close proximity.

In the operating room ...wet noodle legs and about ready getting ready to get things going.

Anything that Tyler does, Ryan wants to do too. For example, Ryan wanted to wear big boy pants just like brother. Ryan is no where near ready for this ... but they look so cute on him.

Tyler goes potty ... Ryan has to try.

I know what you're thinking ... um, this is the backyard. Well, this was after a full day of swimming (and Tyler usually drinks about half the pool while he swims). We were in the process of getting changed, and well, sometimes there just isn't enough time to go all the way inside. Or, as Galyn would say, 'One of the perks of being a boy'.

Since Ryan's favorite past time is jumping on inappropriate things (beds, couches or anything else that has a significant drop off) we knew the bounce house would be and instant hit with him.

The Dallas Zoo.

We saw the new Wilds of Savannah ... it was pretty cool.

Tyler was able to feed and pet some giraffes.

Watching the new lions ... These lions were ready to pounce! Apparently they were not very use to little morsel sized kids dancing around in front of them.
